progress

I'm looking at my life and thought; what have I accomplished?

I'm at my "prime" years as they call it and it only goes a bit higher before it goes down from there. For someone who is supposed to be twenty years old, I sure don't see myself that way. In fact when I travel on the subway, I feel like a high school student still. My appearance is definitely deceiving. Is that a good or a bad thing?

Anyway this random thing is about my previous project. I'm up to 120something pages and I've stopped working on it. It's been about two years since I have departed from high school and the memories are getting fuzzy. To not finish it soon means--it won't get finished at all. And so, I make an entire post just to remind myself of what's important to me... to finish the thing. But somehow I feel like there's never enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do.

Adding To Do list

Okay I plan on doing a parody music video with me "singing" a song. Stay tuned.

sticks and stones may break my bones

Words hurt--a lot, especially coming from someone important to you.

Anyway, I don't know if this happens to you, but it certainly happens to me. Have you ever laughed or smiled and your face hurts because of your grin? It hurts because your face hasn't made a smile in so long that the muscles get tired from the facial expression. I don't believe people when they say frowning uses more muscles because my face gets tired when I smile or laugh a lot. I guess it's because there's not a lot to be happy about. It saddens me to know that my face hurts to smile =(.

A much simplified version:

You know when you haven't worked out for a while, and you work out, and you get sore? Well that happens to my face.

stuff

I transferred from CVS to Walgreens. Hooray for that.

Shopping for things is very difficult. The other day I needed to buy a pair of black sneakers but I simply couldn't decide on what to get--mostly because of the price and the comfort level. Most sneakers these days are way too flashy and uncomfortable. So I ended up not buying anything, so my 4th of July was a big sham. Shammity sham sham I tell you.

5/12

Yesterday - 5/12 - must remember for stuff.

Anyway today I'll be doing my schedule for fall semester. Hope everything works out...

Edit - schedule kind of shitty, but not bad enough to whine about.

Today was quite a nice day. I was very nervous until I presented my project for English. Now I feel relieved.

Weather

Global warming makes the weather unbelievable. One day its hot and the next it's cold. The transition from 90 degrees to 60 is just too much. Where's the consistency?

Cuz you're hot and you're cold, you're yes and you're no

Random stuff

There is some virus going around the internet, or more frightening, on AIM. A friend of mine had a funny status so I asked her; "Why not click on X's link?" According to her, a friend of her friend sent her a link and she pressed on it. Somehow the link was a virus that took control over her AIM (or AIM Screen name). Now a bot or whatever is sending out more links using her friend's account. Another friend of mine got the same thing and keeps sending me retarded links. Good thing I found out about it before I saw it.

Today I took the COMPASS Math placement test (again). I don't think they sent me the results of the test I took for the fall term. Well anyway, when I walked in and the proctor was a total douchebag. His attitude was disgusting... he gave everyone who walked in an attitude and talked down upon them. When this girl pressed something wrong on the computer the asshole yelled at her. He yelled at me for pressing the start button ROFL. That guy was probably some scum who got picked on in life all the time and now get some authoritative position and was abusing it. Sad guy. Anyway the test was pretty ironic because you would think there were a lot of people that were my age but no. There a bunch of 30-40 year olds taking the test. I guess people are still trying to get their degrees after their X number of years in community colleges.
